About the Park
Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve includes coastal wetlands, salt marshes, coastal dunes, and hardwood hammocks. The preserve reflects 6,000 years of human history. It includes Fort Caroline and Kingsley Plantation. The National Park Service operates the preserve.
