National Capital Parks-East

National Capital Parks-East includes more than 8,000 acres of scenic parkland, historic landmarks, and community spaces across Washington, D.C., and Maryland. The area includes 17 nationally significant parks with distinct experiences. Anacostia Park features riverside trails. The parks also include the homes of American leaders such as Frederick Douglass and Carter G. Woodson.
