About the Park
Yucca House National Monument preserves a large unexcavated pueblo in Montezuma Valley. It is situated between Mesa Verde and Ute Mountain near Cortez, Colorado. The site has been protected as a national monument since 1919. Yucca House has remained largely untouched, preserving the pueblo's beauty and integrity.
