About the Park
The Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail stretches 330 miles through Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. It traces the route used by Patriot militia during the Kings Mountain campaign of 1780. The route includes a commemorative motor route along marked state highways and more than 80 miles of walkable trail.
