Salem Maritime National Historical Park

Salem Maritime National Historical Park was established in 1938 as the first National Historic Site in the United States. It includes nine acres along the Salem waterfront, twelve historic structures, and a downtown visitor center. The park preserves and interprets more than 600 years of New England maritime history and global stories. The Salem Armory Visitor Center is located in Salem, Massachusetts.
