Broomfield Park is a local green space in Malahide, serving nearby residents and sports users. It is one of Fingal’s practical community parks, with open playing areas rather than formal visitor attractions.
Fingal County Council lists Broomfield among its playing-pitch locations for the Howth/Malahide area. The park therefore plays an important role for local clubs and organised field sports.
Outside scheduled activity, the open setting can also work well for a short walk or casual exercise.
Spring and summer provide the best daylight and generally firmer ground. Grass-pitch availability can change after heavy rain, particularly during winter.
