Malahide Castle Demesne and Regional Park is one of Fingal’s major visitor destinations, combining historic parkland with gardens, sport, family facilities and the landmark Malahide Castle.

Castle and gardens
The historic castle is the visual centerpiece of the estate. The adjoining Talbot Botanic Gardens cover about 22 acres and contain thousands of plant species and varieties. Castle and garden attractions may operate separately from the public parkland, so check ticket and opening information before visiting.
Walking and recreation
The wider demesne offers pleasant walks and extensive lawns. Fingal also lists facilities including a large children’s playground, sports pitches, tennis, cricket and golf-related recreation.
Getting there
The park is within walking distance of Malahide village and its rail station, making it one of the easier major Fingal parks to visit without a car.
