Newbridge Demesne is one of Fingal’s major historic parks, located beside Donabate. The estate combines extensive parkland with Newbridge House, a traditional farm, woodland walks, gardens and family recreation.
Fingal County Council describes the demesne as approximately 370 acres, giving visitors plenty of space to explore beyond the main house.
Newbridge House dates from the 18th century and remains the focal point of the estate. The traditional farm, cobbled courtyard, walled garden and restored glasshouses add several layers to a visit beyond a simple park walk.
The demesne includes woodland routes, open meadows and a large children’s playground. Fingal also lists sports pitches on the estate.
The park is within walking distance of Donabate village and train station, making it accessible by public transport as well as by car.
