    About the Park

    Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail consists of five sections of hiking trail running roughly parallel to the 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway. The foot trails total more than 60 miles. They pass through wetlands, swamps, and hardwood forest. The trail also offers opportunities to explore the history of the area.
