Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park

Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park is centered around the Great Falls of the Passaic River. Paterson was established in 1792 as America's first planned industrial city. Industries associated with the city included silk cloth, steam locomotives, textiles, continuous paper rolls, firearms, and aircraft engines. The park is operated by the National Park Service.
