Pea Ridge National Military Park

Pea Ridge National Military Park preserves a 4,400-acre Civil War battlefield in Garfield, Arkansas. On March 7-8, 1862, more than 23,000 soldiers fought here in a battle that helped decide the fate of Missouri. The battle was a turning point of the Civil War in the Trans-Mississippi. The park honors those who fought and died on these grounds.
