Sitka National Historical Park

Sitka National Historical Park preserves the site of a battle between invading Russian traders and Indigenous Kiks.ádi Tlingit. Located on an island amid towering spruce and hemlock, the park features totem poles from Tlingit and Haida areas along a coastal trail. The restored Russian Bishop’s House reflects Russia’s colonial legacy in North America. The park is operated by the National Park Service.
