Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument

Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is in Flagstaff, Arizona. About 1,000 years ago, the ground was torn open and lava erupted into the sky, changing the landscape and the lives of people who lived here. Trees and flowers now grow among the rocks.
