St Catherine’s Park is a large regional park beside the River Liffey near Lucan and Leixlip. The landscape combines open grassland, woodland, riverside paths and recreational areas, making it one of the strongest green-space destinations on the western side of the Dublin region.
Visitors can use the extensive paths for walking and running, enjoy open lawns and explore wooded sections near the river. The scale of the park makes it suitable for longer visits than a typical neighbourhood green.
Wear suitable footwear after wet weather, keep dogs under effective control and check current access arrangements before travelling.
