St Patrick’s Park is a landscaped city-centre park beside St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin 8. Its central location and open lawns make it one of the easiest green spaces to include in a walking route through the historic south-western side of the city centre.
The park offers a pleasant foreground to the cathedral and is well suited to a short rest between nearby heritage attractions. Its location places it close to Christchurch, the Liberties and several historic streets, making it easy to include in a wider walking route.
Daylight hours are best for combining the park with the surrounding historic area. Dublin City Council lists seasonal opening hours, so check current access before visiting early or late.
