Tolka Valley Regional Park forms part of the wider green corridor associated with the River Tolka in northwest Dublin. In the Fingal area, it provides valuable open space, riverside habitat and walking opportunities within an otherwise heavily urbanised landscape.
The park’s strongest feature is the River Tolka itself and the connected green corridor around it. Visitors can enjoy informal paths, wildlife and a more natural setting than many conventional neighbourhood parks.
Paths may be muddy after prolonged rain. Stay clear of fast-flowing water during poor weather and check local access notices.
