About the Park
Roger Williams National Memorial is located at 282 North Main Street in Providence, Rhode Island. Roger Williams founded Providence here in 1636. The site reflects his advocacy for freedom of conscience in religious belief and practice. It is operated by the National Park Service. The memorial is open from sunrise to sunset.
