Roosevelt Campobello International Park

Franklin D. Roosevelt summered on Campobello Island for many years. As an adult, he shared with his family the active pursuits he had enjoyed there as a child. Although he visited less frequently after contracting polio, Campobello remained important to him. Today, the park serves as a memorial to Roosevelt and a symbol of cooperation between the United States and Canada.
