Saratoga National Historical Park

Saratoga National Historical Park is located in Stillwater, New York. The park commemorates the 1777 battles between a British invasion force and an American army. Following two intense battles, an eight-mile retreat, and a three-day siege, British General John Burgoyne surrendered his entire force. The surrender was the first of a British Army and was a pivotal moment in the Revolutionary War. The park is operated by the National Park Service.
